Given a point A and a point B in the city: follow a straight line (or transect) and try to connect both ends carrying an exploratory tool. Following a straight line might imply to hop over a wall, negotiate a passage or make a long detour to find the trajectory again…

Friday, april 12th
arrival the next day between 6 and 8 pm.
Equip yourself according to the weather conditions, have a picnic ready for the evening and a sleeping bag for the night.
'Hard Discount'
departure at 5 pm. / La Valentine
Serious obstacles, sound variations, physical negotiations, over-under, urban bivouac.
Actions: dwelling, starting again, following the dotted line, being part of the landscape.

A pace that can be erratic, between parks and parkings, urban bivouac.

Saturday, april 13th
arrival the same day between 6 and 8 pm.
Equip yourself according to the weather conditions, for departures at 10 am., have a picnic ready.
'Si loin, si proche' (So close, so far)
departure at 10 am. / Croix rouge-Vallon vert
On the edge, not quite a city, not quite the country, a walk tinted with smells.
Actions: slowing down, losing time, hand-made communication network.
'Oasis, oasis'
departure at 10 am. / Grand Littoral
Maritime and automobile fluxes, hills and buildings.
Actions: climbing, negotiating, connecting both ends.
'Super ordinaire' (Super regular)
departure at 1 pm. / Sébastopol
Contrasted atmosphere, changing densities, going through several strata of urbanization.
Actions: constant construction, mobile sculpture, being in the flux.
All 5 walks will converge at point B. Creating an euphoric network of city stories, junction and connection; soup and rest.

Reminder
Even though they are not athletic, these walks require to be able to walk on all kind of terrains (wear comfortable shoes). The different routes have lengths of 4 to 10 km and will last from 5 to 8 hours, these durations are not calculated on a steady walking basis but on an extensible and slowed down time-frame, which for some walks also includes pauses and picnics.
Beware!
We advise that you join departures using public transportations (all locations are on buses or métro routes). A shuttle service will be provided to go back to the city centre on the saturday night.
