For this extraordinary night, the collective unfolds a grand 'Conversation Agency*', after eleven years of conversations moving about in different cities and specifically in Marseille since june of 2010. “Conversations are moving and changing. If you ever came across a Conversation Agency somewhere in town, do not miss the Convention of Experts™, seize on the opportunity of conversing with a stranger.”
*definition : a table and some folding chairs, a typewriter, some fluorescent paper, a few office supplies and let a possible conversation begin. Writing, talking, posting. Around the 'agency', conversations from the day before or from another city are hung for casual reading.
practice : Conversing with strangers and writing outdoors, outside a métro station or at the beach of the Prophète. Setting up an archive of “conversations”, inventing a way of writing that is shaken by outside contingencies.
