"fondcommun"

by Vincent Bonnet and David Bouvard
"fondcommun is an organ of problematic press of bi-annual publication, […]. It constitutes of facts that shape, within the space of the printed page, probelms. Intempestive, heterogenous and shared, […] these facts are produced by people involved in creation processes. We assert that in-forming is first about producing a form. this form is a way of looking for new usages at the margin of those instituated in the fields of arts, politics, buisness, entertainement, finance and medias."
fondcommun has produced a "billsticking" in and around the train Fantôme starting on january 15th and an open workshop/presentation in the Hypermédiathèque.

Jean-luc Moulène
Between 2002 and 2005, Jean-Luc Moulène has imported by many ways, clandestine, friendly, humanitarian, objects made in Palestine, of which he made photographs. […] In this study, the artist intended to deliberatley produce a contradiction by actualy importing a conflict, which is a first taking place at the level of signs. (after Brian Holmes and Stephen Wright)

Ville sonore (Sonic City)
• by Ici-Même [Gr.] and Musicabrass
Grenoble 31 march, 2010

As part of the process of creation of two new pieces of "Radioguided Cinema" for the summer of 2010 (Rayon Frais in Tours and Chalon dans la rue in Chalon sur Saône), we warmed up with a re-broadcast of "Have a dream dans la folie", a piece created in 2006. We took the opportunity to associate the event with Musicabrass - messing the public space with sounds for many years - who offered on the same day a preview of their current creation : RuEMEuR (also to be presented in Chalon dans la rue 2010).

24 heures dehors (et même plus)
4 and 11 june, 2010
Le Merlan, scène nationale à Marseille

night walk / performance / infusion of sounds radioguided listening
with the complicity of Radio Grenouille

two crossing of Marseille overnight; after a short bivouac on the stage of the Theatre, each night went on with day light actions around the theatre. Between the two sessions, we have unfolded our laboratory (Hypermédiathèque, agence de conversation…).

The city overnight
starting at 7 pm, to be back the next day around 5 pm.
fridays 4 and 11 june, Théâtre du Merlan

Experiencing the city every which way and maybe ridding it of the already known. The body walking - a collective body - the perception altered... Together we went through the space of sleep. All along this long crossing, we have moved with the radio waves, listening to night with the help of Radio Grenouille.

Out of the night
from 1 pm to about 5pm
saturdays 5 and 12 june, Théâtre du Merlan

A suspended time between here and away, an encounter between the audience of the day and the travelers of the night. The box of the theatre was turned inside out so as to shelter a new form of exploration : a distended time, bodies awaking, awakening gestures, and the nocturnal murmur still echoing to listen to. Sounds and voices
of the night mixed and performed live in the theatre, and broadcasted on Radio Grenouille. Eventually, we went back to the blunt light outside, letting ourselves carried by the stream of the day people
during a radioguided listening.

Cinema night « Éclat(s) de ville(s) »
wednesday 9 june 2010 à 20h30
two sessions of one hour with meal break...
A cinema program shaping a composite landscape from various
points of view on the city and its surroundings, from the capture of reality and sheer subjectivity. The chosen short-films are exploring, through various visual and sonic forms, perceptions, spaces, motions and physical states. As many sensitive layers over the territory, as many potential cartographies. The screen becomes a surface to pace up and down, to drift and divagate in.

1st part.
• Brillant City by D-Fuse, 14’, 2004.
Filmed from the 34th floor of a Shangaï residential compound, it shows an uncommon view on a perpetual human motion.
• Münster land by Valérie Jouve, 42’, 2007
Four stollers going from the outskirts to the center of a city. Each one, through the places he crossing, gives way to potential fictions.
• Under Construction by Zhenchen Liu, 10’, 2007
A long sequence-shot through a district of Shangaï under demolition that reappropriates the aesthetic of video games to documentary ends.

2d part
• Un détour pour saluer by Henri-Jean Debon, 25’, 2007
In Dubaï, a megalopolis built on sand, a voice invites the impalpable presence of the desert.
• Ferrailles d'attente by Tariq Téguia, 7’, 1998
Refering to unfinished constructions, to these iron parts on the side of the road, the film is a sonic and visual wandering in architectural chaos of contemporary Algeria.
• Variations by Peter Hutton, 22’, 1992-1998,
Poetical documentary or documentary poetry ? the sensitive approach comes first, the vibration of colors and shapes comes before any attempt of signification.
